Inventory/Order Assistant, Joliet, IL

We are looking for an organized individual with experience pulling orders and receiving shipments. You will assist our Purchasing Agent with shipping and receiving as well as our Sales Office Manager for processing orders and shipping. This is a full-time job that requires physical presence at our location in Joliet, IL. Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm.


  • Receive boxes, open and checks contents against packing slip and PO
  • Record Serial Numbers of Radios in receipt, and record in QuickBooks.
  • Fill sales orders and put additional away for stock
  • Notify sales reps that items are received and ship orders to customers
  • Pack and Ship light to medium weight items to meet deadlines for product delivery
  • Serve as a liaison between sales staff and technical support staff as needed
  • General office support as assigned or requested


  • Order processing office experience
  • Strong computer skills are a must, QuickBooks experience a plus
  • Previous office experience
  • Excellent communication, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Demonstrate friendly phone voice and excellent customer service skills
  • Possess high energy
  • Be straightforward and detail-oriented
  • Display common sense
  • Successful interaction with many different personalities
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, team environment
  • Excellent problem resolution skills
